Raw Material
In order to reach High quality glass products, not only we need well-calculated glass composition but also well-sorted, stable and steady raw material quality supply.
Each type of glasses i.e. Float, Container, Tableware or Fiberglass has their own dedicated quality requirements based on final product characteristics. Therefore before discharging the Raw Material into Batch Plant silos, physical and chemical properties of each material have to be tested, reported and after Quality control approval to be discharged.
Below table shows average glass composition for Flint color of three different types of glasses e.g. Float, Container and Crystalline ( Lead free – Barium Crystal ) Tableware. These values are just indicative numbers but for each specific products have to be fine-tuned.
